What was intended to be a year abroad to get it out of my system and write has turned into a new career path, but I am passionate about travel writing – capturing a new, or even familiar, place so eloquently that the smells and feelings associated with it are tangible. From professor Durham’s class junior year to my meager little blog, I’ve been chasing story and jotting down my observations, hoping Matador will hire me.
